Taylor Fry

Michael is an actuary with experience across government analytics, accident compensation and general insurance.

He works extensively with microdata from the Stats NZ Integrated Data Infrastructure citizen database. This has involved collaborating with various government agencies, from initial data preparation and analysis to communicating insights. He is also a key part of the team that models long-term social outcomes for the NZ Ministry of Social Development, which makes use of the full breadth of IDI data.

Michael has been working on the external liability valuation for the Accident Compensation Corporation in NZ since 2010 and on various analytical projects for the corporation during that time.
