Sophie is an experienced advisor on health strategy and policy development, financial modelling and operational performance improvement. Her focus is on using data to support evidence-based decision making and improve service delivery.
She has worked with a range of public and private stakeholders in Australia and overseas, from frontline clinicians to data scientists and senior executives, across strategic research and funding projects.
Sophie’s strong understanding of public sector health includes her ongoing clinical experience as a paramedic. This hands-on involvement complements her actuarial work and provides valuable insight into the health system. Sophie’s publications cover health service delivery, patient outcomes and health funding.
