Collin Wang
Director

Collin is a general insurance actuary with more than 15 years’ experience spanning reserving, pricing, capital modelling and data transformation.
He has delivered across short and long-tail portfolios for insurers, underwriting agencies and public schemes. This includes cabinet-in-confidence advisory for a workers compensation scheme and end-to-end actuarial support for a new entrant to the NSW CTP market.
Collin brings structure and clarity to complex problems, combining deep actuarial expertise with a practical approach. He helps clients at all levels understand technical concepts and apply them to their business. He says:
“Trusted advice starts with consistency – delivering work that stands up to scrutiny, being available when it matters and staying genuinely invested in helping clients succeed.”
In addition to traditional actuarial work, Collin has led modernisation efforts across data platforms and analytics pipelines, building cloud-native, scalable tools to streamline reporting and allow real-time decision making. He also has hands-on experience applying natural language processing and AI techniques to support classification, segmentation and portfolio analysis.
Collin volunteers as a not-for-profit board director and will complete the Australian Institute of Company Directors’ course in 2025.
